(Try to) Survive your Boss

You wanted to buy some nice thing for yourself, so you got this job. It surely doesn't pay well, but it will get you there nonetheless. How bad can it possibly be, right?

... right?

Now, you find yourself between a rock and a hard place: Your insufferable, despicable and paranoid boss called you for a meeting. Try not to annoy him, because you can't get your new graphics card if you get fired.

Pay close attention to his rant about you (or another completely unrelated subject), because he'll make questions about it to check if you're paying attention. Take too long/ answer incorrectly and you'll annoy him.

This WILL be an infuriating jouney, so best of luck to you.

Made in 1 week as an entry for the Game Dev Unlocked Game Jam #6, being the jam's theme: "Long story short"

Average playtime = ~15 minutes.

v1.1 PATCH NOTES:

- Dramatically increased the available time to respond to the questions made by the boss (from 8 to 15 seconds).

- Added responsive sounds and UI elements to better telegraph the limited time to answer the questions made by the boss.

- General fixes for the subtitles.

- Fixed an issue where one of the possible answers in the first interaction with the boss wasn't funny enough.
